Some wrinkles develop as the result of over-expressing certain facial muscles. After a prolonged time these movements can give rise to a permanent expression   such as: anger, sorrow, surprise etc.

Botox® is the name of a product that has been used for over 20 years as a medecine to treat muscle dysfunction diseases (also in children!). Recently it has gained ground in its use for esthetic   purposes.

While using a small micro-needle an extremely small quantity of the product is injected into the facial muscle. This relaxes the muscle fibers that cause certain wrinkles. Thus you look younger and more relaxed. Normal expression remains possible!

The   effect improves with prolonged treatment since you   will loose certain automatisms. This leads to lower doses or longer intervals between   treatments.

Een Botox® behandeling veroorzaakt weinig ongemak mits de indicatie juist gesteld is en de behandeling gedaan wordt door deskundigen met anatomische kennis en kennis van rimpelbehandeling. Lichte roodheid kan optreden, maar u kan na de behandeling direct uw werkzaamheden hervatten. Het zichtbare effect van de inspuiting treedt binnen de week na het toedienen van de inspuiting op.
